Seventeen Seventy and Agnes Water

Another big day in the car rewarded with beautiful coastline. The weather was gorgeous and we had a lazy few days by the beach and river. Lola finally got Rex where she wanted him Unfortunately the heavens opened just as we were about to start packing up and followed us all the way south to Brisbane.

Airlie Beach

The Whitsunday's were just what we needed after three days in the car. We did a tour out to the reef to do some snorkelling and have a look around the islands. The snorkelling and weather was beautiful and so was Whitehaven beach, even if our beach attire was a bit dodgy.

East Coast here we come

After leaving Alice we spent a crazy three days on the road, running to the east coast. We first stopped at Barkly Homestead and was greeted by the most amazing storm. The next day we made it into Queensland and stayed at Julia Creek, where we were inundated by green tree frogs. Finally on day three we pulled into Airlie Beach for a few days of well earned rest.
