Apsley Falls, Oxley Wild Rivers National Park

After spending 5 days in Sydney with Tim's parents getting over the chaos of packing up the house and car we finally headed off. Our first stop was Apsley Falls in the Oxley Wild Rivers National Park near Walcha NSW. We though it would be some pretty bush to relax and ground ourselves in and at this time of year would be pretty quiet. What we found was a very impressive waterfall into a large gorge, with a fantastic bike path around the top of the gorge. The surrounding bush was gorgeous with lots of roos, rock wallabies and heaps of birds. It was very cold at night but the days were beautiful and sunny and after four relaxing days we all felt like our adventure had well and truly started!

Mama & Papas

When we left home we were packed with heaps of stuff and my mum had to hold the computer all the way to my mama and papas in sydney. It was exciting when we left but it got a bit boring in the car because it was way to hot and we eventually got to our mama & papas. we stayed there for 5 days we played out side for a couple of minutes and the we had to come inside and do our school work. We saw our cousins Lara, Evie, Stephen & David then me, my brother and my cousin David and mama and mum and dad and papa went to Yum Cha for lunch. The food was yummy but I had a tummy ache. Me, my brother and cousin had fanta it was yummy then we had to go home and me, my brother and cousin played volleyball, wrestled and then David my cousin climbed into a tree and me and my brother threw the ball at him. I tried to catch it and fell off the brick wall and bumped my head on mamas car but it was a small brick wall. Posted by Lola

Less than two weeks to go now! We have started packing up all of our things into the garage, the house is just about ready to hand over to renters and its nearly time to start packing up the car and camper. The kids have only two days left of school and one big play at the park to say good bye to such wonderful friends. We are overwhelmed with the amount of support and well wishes, its hard not to feel sad.

Two weeks left at work for Tim. Its game on. Jac has already started packing things up. There is heaps to do at home before the 10th August. 
Then we hit the road Jack.
