The Gibb River Road: Windjana Gorge

We were so excited to be starting on The Gibb and first stop was Windjana Gorge. There wasn't a lot of water in the gorge but there was definitely no swimming as there were over fifty freshwater crocs in a fairly condensed area. The highlight of Windjana Gorge was the sun setting through the gorge and watching thousands of flying foxes fly out to feed. As they skimmed the water for a drink on the way the crocs would snap at them... pretty cool!
